Irkutsk State Agrarian University named after A.A. Ezhevsky founded in 1934. About 6000 of students including 400 international students study at ISAU. All students are accommodated in the dormitory. University's campus is situated 20 minutes far from the center of the city on the side of the Angara River. There is convenient public transportation between the University's campus and the center of the city. The Campus guarantees the comfortable and safe communities. Irkutsk city with the population about 620000 of inhabitants is located 70 km far from Lake Baikal. In the city, there are airport, railway station and interurban bus station. The minimum wage in Irkutsk is about USD 200 per month.
