Admission procedure
Online registration
Create your UC Application, which opens August 1, for Fall enrollment. The minimum GPA is 3.4 for nonresident/international applicants. UCI no longer uses SAT/ACT test scores in the admission nor selection process.
TOEFL - test
Self-report on the application your TOEFL score of 80iBT or IELTS of 6.5 is required if you've completed all or some high school or secondary school at an institution where English was not the language of instruction.
Deadline
The application deadline is November 30 prior to the fall enrollment term.
Decision
Receive admissions decisions in March. Admissions to UCI Undergraduate programs is highly selective. Meeting the minimum admissions requirements does not guarantee admission to UCI.
Admission
Submit your Statement of Intent to Register by May 1 if you were offered admissions to UCI.
